rtX Stand-alone: Build real-time projects that boot and run without ADvantageVI

The ADvantage project development environment, ADvantageDE, now includes a “Stand-alone” build mode for the PC-based rtX target. When projects are built in Stand-alone mode the simulator loads and starts its project every time the power is cycled. This allows your ADvantage-based system to operate like a production embedded computer without the need to load and start the project from ADvantageVI.

Stand-alone build is particularly useful for multi-node distributed simulation labs and when building a real-time system intended to be deployed to a customer for run-time-only operation.
