Simulink Support:
Model Referencing |
| |
| |
|

|
|
| |
| ADvantage
now provides full
support for Simulink
model referencing.
Model referencing
is an advanced capability
within Simulink enabling
models to be constructed
using an object oriented
approach. With model
referencing, a model
“class”
is defined using a
Simulink .mdl file.
This simulation class
may be instantiated
in a parent model
multiple times by
adding referenced
model blocks pointing
to the same .mdl file.
The referenced model
may include named
parameters with unique
values in different
instantiations of
the same model “class.”
ADvantage enables
Simulink models
that implement model
referencing features
to be added to a
project just like
any other Simulink
model. The parent
model is added to
an ADvantage Assembly.
Code is generated
using either RTW
or Embedded Coder
with the click of
a mouse button.
The parent model
and its collection
of referenced sub-models
are added to the
project as though
it were a single
model. The new hierarchical
Data Browser provides
complete visibility
into the model signals
and parameters.
