Working with Targets

ADvantageDE makes it easy to work with different types of real-time and non-real-time simulation targets. ADvantage supports standard PC-based, PCI/PXI-based, and VME-based computer hardware. Switching from one target to another, be it of similar or dissimilar hardware-type, is as easy as dragging a target icon from the Target Browser to the project.

When switching between targets with a similar compliment of I/O boards and processors, ADvantageDE matches up I/O connections and processor allocations automatically, eliminating the need to reconfigure and reconnect.

When developing a large, sophisticated, distributed real-time simulation-based system integration lab (SIL), ADvantageDE is the ideal tool enabling the entire lab of simulators to be assembled with ease.

ADvantageDE makes it easy to share simulation projects between design groups and suppliers. Simulation model assemblies may be packaged, sent to a colleague, and assigned to a target in the SIL.
