Distributed Simulation Architecture

The ADvantage software uses an open architecture that enables test projects to grow into enterprise-level test platforms using ADvantage as the run-time core. Communication with real-time and desktop targets is performed using TCP/IP sockets.

This network architecture enables complex simulation projects to be distributed among numerous simulation computers. Communication and data transfer between ADvantageVI and the remote targets is transparent to the user. The DAS also implements a TCP/IP architecture. Applications may connect remotely over the internet to streaming simulation and test data.
