Command-Line Scripting

ADvantageVI includes a comprehensive, command-line scripting language. Using scripts, ADvantageVI interacts with the target or the host computer’s operating system to automate virtually any activity.

Features of the command line scripting language include:

• Project load activities
• Interaction with and inspection of the target
• Control of the DAS and file system
• If / then / else and looping constructs
• Macros subroutine constructs
• Session variable declaration and manipulation
