Increase the Value and Reliability
of your Simulation Lab
---- with an ISI AC100 and AC1000 replacement from ADI.
Developed and manufactured by Innovative Systems, Incorporated (ISI), the AC100
and AC1000 (AC1x) are real-time simulators designed for developing and testing
embedded electronic control systems.
High-end scientific laboratories in the aerospace and defense sectors are the
primary installation sites of AC1x simulators.
The AC1x hardware platform is a Motorola-based computer operating on a VME
bus. VME I/O devices provide the interface to the controller or device under test.
AC1x software consists of the SystemBuild simulation development environment and
a real-time OS (RTOS) that hosts the simulation.
ISI has divested its SystemBuild and RTOS units to National Instruments, and
Wind River, respectively. There is no support option available for AC1x systems.
Scientists and technicians responsible for AC1x simulators find them increasingly
difficult to maintain, improve, and expand.
ADI offers products and services that enable the seamless replacement of AC1x
simulators. Built using open, industry-standard technology, ADI’s PCI rtX
and VME RTS simulators resist obsolescence. The ADvantage framework supports a
majority of modern and legacy model formats, including SystemBuild and Simulink.
ADI’s modern, open, cost-efficient simulators provide a way forward while
maintaining compatibility with existing projects. ADI equipped simulation labs
meet future demands without sacrificing past effort. NASA Ames, Honeywell, BAE
Systems, and Rolls-Royce have replaced AC1x systems with ADI simulation technology.
ADI’s engineers and technicians are on hand to evaluate, design, build,
test, and install turnkey AC1x replacement systems. Contact adisales@adi.com
