About ADIUS
The Applied Dynamics International
User's Society, ADIUS, is a
nonprofit organization. It is
dedicated to advancing the use
of computer-based systems to
solve real-world problems through
real-time simulation, and generating
embedded system code and test
code.
ADI
User's Society (ADIUS, Inc.)
was founded in 1979, when a
group of ADI simulation computer
system users decided to meet
on a regular basis. Its purpose
is to provide a forum to discuss
solutions, and share experiences
related to dynamic simulation
and ADI-based hardware and software
applications. The society has
evolved over the years. It now
includes past and current users
interested in staying current
with and sharing their insights
on many topics including dynamic
simulation, control systems,
and embedded software development
technology.
ADIUS membership is composed
of a worldwide network of working
professionals whose work requires
them to be current with advancements
in simulation technology and/or
code generation and code testing.
The annual ADIUS meeting allows
members the opportunity to network
informally and offers a forum
for informal presentations.
While the focus is on the applications
of the Applied Dynamics product
suite, attendance is open to
anyone interested in these technologies.
ADIUS provides invaluable opportunities
for education and support. The
ADIUS conference is the primary
international forum for technical
interchange among ADI product
users. The society often sponsors
regional meetings for those
who are unable to attend the
ADIUS conference.
A seven-member Board of Directors
governs the society. The Board
is composed of six officers
elected by the membership and
one representative appointed
by ADI. This representative
serves as the Secretary and
Treasurer, and manages the day-to-day
business operations of the Society.
ADIUS continues to be an independent,
non-profit, educational organization.
To be a member in good standing,
all you need to do is pay your
registration to an ADIUS conference.
There are no yearly dues or
membership fees.
